Backcountry K-9 Returns and Exchanges

For up to 120 days after your purchase, Backcountry K-9 LLC will accept any unused item for return or exchange*. If it has been more than 120 days since your order or you need assistance with a warranty issue, please contact us.

To return or exchange an item by Mail:

1. Please include a copy of your email receipt or a note with the following information:
   • Your First and Last Name
   • The order number found on your packing slip or email confirmation
   • Your Address
   • Your Phone Number
   • Your Email Address so we may confirm the return or exchange
   • The reason for the return
   
   
2. Please indicate whether you would prefer an exchange for a different size or a refund for the item.
   
   
3. Insure the package for your protection and return to:

4. You can expedite an exchange by placing a new order with your credit card and returning the unwanted merchandise for a refund.
   
   
5. Dirty, used, and damaged merchandise will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Special Return Policy for the Ruff Wear Doubleback Harness: To ensure that your dog has a great experience with the Ruff Wear DoubleBack™ Harness, we encourage you to try the harness on your dog before going outside. To qualify for an exchange or refund with this saftey-rated item, the harness must be returned in a clean condition, with tags and literature attached. Please do not attach carabiners or tie into the harness if it is the incorrect size. Safety and performance is our priority. If you have any questions about fit please contact us.
